Custom Workflow Conditions and Validators
Please note that this feature is currently only available in the cloud version
From “Release 1 2025” it is possible to integrate CC5 validators and conditions into the existing workflows. All conditions and validators starts with CC5 and are now available in the workflow settings.
With the help of the new options, you can now control your workflow in a more flexible and targeted way. This could, for example, prevent a document from being set to test without a ToC being created.
Conditions and validators allow you to add certain requirements on workflow transitions to make sure that your request can be transitioned only if these requirements are met.
Validators: Checks that are done when you execute a workflow transition.
Conditions: Checks that are done on the current issue status, that will decide whether a workflow transition is shown or not.
