Cross ALM GmbH is strongly committed to protect and respect your privacy. Your data is not a small topic for us and we will always provide give the right care and importance to it. In order to provide more clarification about how your data can be treated, this Privacy Policy describes our commitment with all information collected by us, directly or indirectly, including through our website or apps.

We work hard to ensure that all your personal data provided to us shall, in any case:

Type of data collected

 

  • Personal Data

Personal data is composed of any information that can indirectly or directly identify you. The collected data described below is included, but not limited, to the following list:

  • Name;

  • Contact details such as email and/or phone number;

  • Information about the services we provide;

  • Additional personal data by using one of our services;

 

  • Usage Data

Cross ALM GmbH may also gather data regarding how the service is accessed in order to improve the quality of our services. This data can be composed of IP addresses, used browser and version, pages that trigger the connector, date and time of the execution and other diagnostic data.

 

  • Tracking & Cookies Data

Cookies (files with small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier created via your browser from a website and stored on your device) can be used for tracking activity by us. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some of our services.

Cross ALM GmbH can make use of all collected data in order to improve the quality and define improvements to our services. Additionally, the data collected can be used:

  • To provide analysis for improving our services;

  • To monitor how our services are used;

Storing and transferring data

Depending on where the servers are kept, all the information collected by us, including your personal data, could be sent or maintained to servers located in different geographic position from your company or from where you access our services. It also affects the governmental jurisdiction where the protection law may also be different from your current location. Please consider that all your data can be stored and process in Germany where Cross ALM GmbH is located.

Your content to this policy followed by your submission of such information represents the agreement to that transfer. Cross ALM GmbH will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Cross Connectors specific case

Since the Cross ALM’s Cross Connectors work with Jira Issues within the Jira system of customers, it is important to mention that Cross ALM does not have access to the content (such as Summary, Description, Assignee, Reporter etc.) of the Issues that work with the Cross Connectors or to any private information of the customer’s Jira instances. Cross ALM has only access to the data provided by the Atlassian Marketplace. This data may include the start date of usage of the Add-On, License ID, contact’s name, hosting type or number of users in Jira Instance.

Disclosure of data

Cross ALM GmbH is allowed to disclose your Personal Data if necessary:

  • To accomplish a legal obligation;

  • To protect the property rights of our products;

  • To prevent or investigate the wrong use of our services;

  • To protect the personal safety of users of our services or the public;

  • For protection against legal liability;

Service providers

In order to facilitate or improve the quality of our services, we may employ third party companies and/or individuals to provide services on our behalf. Some of those activities could be the analysis of how the products are being used, which will require access to your Personal Data. The third parties companies that have access such data are only allowed to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

User Control

By accepting our Privacy Policy, you are allowed at any time:

  • to request access to the information we hold about you;

  • to request correction or to update information that we hold about you;

  • to request that we delete your personal information but only in specific circumstances, for example, where the personal information is no longer necessary;

Please Note:

  • Those procedures will require for us to verify your identity before implementing any request;

  • In some cases, we may not be able to entirely complete the request and we will provide a reason why it was not possible;
