Many clients have the need of using Cross Connector in languages different from English.
CC5 translation package are offered during the installation of the plugin, however, and additional module for translating Customer Created texts is needed.
The following text fields can be translated:
All Customer Actions
Email Subject
Email Body (HTML)
To Translate any text fields, you will need to create a Translation Tokens and enter their translation value. Please, translate the fields for all supported languages!
To create a new token, click on “Add Translation”:
Enter the requested fields:
Please, consider the rules for the translation:
[ Language ] Translation tokens should be used for all supported languages
[ Email? ] If this field is set to Yes, the field [ Translation ] will accept HTML texts
[ Token ] the translation token that will be used later
[ Translation ] Text / HTML used during the translation actions
Once the Translation Token is successfully created, please assign it to one of the translated areas:
The text will be translated based on the language defined on the Jira User Profile:
