External Integration Profile

To customize the project mapping execute the following steps:

• Call transaction SPRO, Focused Build > Integration > Integrate External Tools.

• Copy the example configuration for the External Integration Profile.

• Enhance the configuration for S1CG and S1MJ to add a new Partner:

Mapping External Tools Integration

The mapping with the external tools is based on the cProject. The "Build" project called CC4_SBX_INTEGRATION was created for testing the integration.

In order to proceed with the mapping, follow the procedures below:

• Call transaction SPRO, Focused Build > Integration > Integrate External Tools.

• Click on New Entries and input the information according to the configuration.

• The fields should be configured according the following explanation:

  • Project: Focused Build project

  • Profile: The external integration profile created previously

  • Destination: The RFC configured to get to Jira system

  • URI for creation: /plugins/servlet/crossalm/cc4/createupdatewebservice

    • URL to create tickets automatically in Jira

  • Create Req. Method: POST

  • URI for update: /plugins/servlet/crossalm/cc4/createupdatewebservice

    • In FB, the update method executes only status change

  • Update Req. Method: POST

  • Jump in URL: /browse/#EXTERNAL_ID#

Business Partner Configuration

In Focused Build integration, only allowed business partners can trigger the interface with external systems. To allow a business partner to execute it, please open the t-code BP and open the business partner that will be involved with your synchronization activities:

• Add a new identification customizing:

  • S1EXTI = X
