Transport Import is not working because of missing authorities

You want to use the import feature, but it is not working. You are facing authority issues. Examples here are:

For import activities you might have to add some authorities to the TMW user in managed system since CC5 is using this user and since this user usually does not have any import authorities. Please add PFCG role SAP_CM_MANAGED_IMPORT to this user in all your managed systems. Please ensure that this PFCG role is existing and working/activated. Especially when this role is assigned for the first time in the particular system / client.
Therefor execute the transaction PFCG and display the role SAP_CM_MANAGED_IMPORT in change mode. Go to Authorizations tab and click the Change Authorization Data button. Click the menu button Generate or use the menu Authorizations → Generate. Go back and to the User tab. Click User Comparison button and in the popup Full Comparison.

Please note that this article applies to the SAP Solution Manager use case. The domain controller use case is using different RFC destinations described in the configuration guide.
